Ruby joined our family in 2010 and soon after that began to rule the roost. In many ways she was more than just a dog. She gave us all so much love and affection. She was the best walk companion you could ask for – always ready at the door to go walkies at the drop of a hat!

She loved her mammy Dot and siblings but her dad Mick was her best friend forever. Her tendency to always end up in trouble gave her the nickname ‘The Donabate Diva’ around the neighbourhood.

She loved going missing for hours at a time only to be found tucking in to leftover food in the car park of the local pub.

She loved her walks on Donabate beach and in newbridge park, and always brightened up the day of the people she would meet.

Her passing has left a big hole our lives and we will miss her forever.
